Born in Toledo, he received his B.S. Degree from Indiana University and his J.D. Degree from the University of Toledo.  Admitted to Michigan, Illinois and Ohio Bars, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth District; U.S. District Courts, Northern District of Illinois, Eastern District of Michigan and Northern District of Ohio.  He is a member of the Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio State Bar Association, and American Association of Justice.  Also is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Morrison R. Waite Chapter of American Inns of Court and Toledo Area Trial Lawyers Association.  He has served as a Board Member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, Vice-Chairman of Product Liability Committee, Board Member of the Toledo Bar Association Grievance Committee, Common Pleas Committee and Board Member of Toledo Law School Alumni Association.  He has lectured in areas of medical malpractice, personal injury and trial practice.
